I donated my tail a few years ago ( '03) to Locks of Love. I wanted it off a month or so before I got it cut but had to grow it out to get the full 6"" they required. When I cut it off I told them to shave me if they needed to, to get the 6"" the required. It's a nice feeling knowing it went to a good cause though.
Now, even though I have a full head of hair, I don't even use a comb or brush. I get out of the shower, run a towel thru it and then "finger it" til it looks good.
Donate the brush next year with a CD of the cutting and an autograph of yours and Jim Mayers at FF IV.
