I'm looking to find where I can download "Here We Are" and "Lighthouse". Can anyone provide some direction? I know Lighthouse was a James Taylor tune, but J.B. has performed it live a few times, but it did not make it on any live cd's.

Welcome to BN! Enjoy your stay.
"Here We Are" is available through ITunes in either video or audio format for a reasonable fee.
Here's a link to a thread I started some time ago regarding "Lighthouse".

Re: Songs
I've been using this website for years now, but have just recently started using the forums. I will get "Here We Are" from Itunes. I looked at your old thread regarding Lighthouse, but don't see where I can get it from. I know its in the old setlists from previous shows, but where did you get the song from?

Re: Songs
I'm betting you could download a live version from one of concerts listed here. Try searching for 'jokelben' here to find instructions to the FTP server. Concerts are usually listed by date.Parrothead_317 wrote:I looked at your old thread regarding Lighthouse, but don't see where I can get it from. Try the set list database here for live versions and then search for the jokelben FTP server. For studio versions, try searching at iTunes or Amazon.ultprthead wrote:I too am looking to find a song. I am looking for "Still Making records (We're Still Here)"

Re: Songs
He did it at the Houston concert. Tho for quality comparisons, it's right down there with the junk from the 1st two albums he made.ultprthead wrote:I too am looking to find a song. I am looking for "Still Making records (We're Still Here)"

Re: Songs
I don't think there's a studio version of We're Still Here. He did it at some of last year's shows and the first time I heard it I thought it sounded like a work in progress. It never got any better, it's just a bad song.looking4OPH wrote:Try the set list database here for live versions and then search for the jokelben FTP server. Down to Earth and High Cumberland Jubilee? If so, I think those are damn fine albums while We're Still Here barely even registers on the radar as a song, it sounds more like a jingle (and not a very thought out one at that). At least those early Buffett records show some very promising signs of things to come such as In the Shelter and Livingston's Gone To Texas which he thought enough of to re-record for later albums.RinglingRingling wrote:He did it at the Houston concert. Re: Songs
It's pretty safe to think that the reason JB put that song, We're Still Here or whatever it's called, at the end of the album with VIDEO of the parking lots of shows - something that is just not watchable no matter how you look at it - says a lot about the song. Hell, Good Guys Win is a better song. Oops. Jimmy didn't write that.
