and... I did see that Dollar Tree had a lot of 'tropical' plates, cups, etc. The plates are square, and cute, cute cute!

Big Lots is another fun store to visit.

At Christmas time they had a santa in shorts and a t-shirt laying on a hammock tied to two palm trees. When you pushed a button the hammock swayed and it played Alan Jackson singing 5 O'Clock Somewhere. Would have prefered JB singing it but I still liked it.

There was only the display model and it wasn't in the best of shape or I would have bought it. I kept checking but they never got more in.

Did anyone see it also?
Yes, I own one [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
 Me too. My granddaughter just about wore it out pressing the button.

I was at Michaels craft store today. When I went to check out they had a plastic basket with canisters of glow braclets. I think there were 15 braclets for $1. If I remember correctly this is the same as they had last year. I ask if all the stores had them and she said yes.

while your out and about this weekend, or any other time, take a look at ...bed bath and beyond. they have a few things that could be added to a tropical theme. they have some place mats that look like bamboo and no border for $1.99 for one example.
if you like pictures, they have one large one that shows a hawaiin beach scene. even at 20 per cent off, it is still pricey.

For anyone looking for a cute item for a child. We found at Target in the baby department on the peg display above the bat tubs a variety of super safety bath ducks. I think you fit them over the bath tub facet.

Pirate duck $2.50

Beach duck with a surf board and sun visor. $2.99

There is a spot on their side that changes colors to tell you when the water is hot or cold.

Just in time for concert season, Eat N Park restaurants now have pirate cookies. They are cute. If your area does not have this restaurant chain do not worry you can order them via their website and have them delivered to your PH phriends and clubs. Their website is: www.eatnpark.com

If you are shopping and need a break and are luck enough to have a Sonic drive in near by. Stop in for one of the refreshing limeade drinks. The new summer flavor is: Mango

Our Sonic has happy hour between 1-3 p.m. and all drinks are 1/2 price

We taste tested the mango and think it is delicious.
