That's ok. You're not alone. I drink a lot of beer and I like Landshark a lot. Don't really care much for Corona, but I really like Landshark (and so do many of my friends who couldn't care less about Jimmy Buffett or his branding).KruzinParrots wrote:I've never been much of a beer drinker. But I liked Landshark the first time I drank it. Since then Landshark has become my favorite beer. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. There must be enough of us who like it or they wouldn't be naming a stadium after it even if it turns out to be for only one season.
So I give it a rating of A+. That's just the opinion of me and my taste buds and I'm sticking to it.
I think it is a good beer and there is no shame in admitting that. Who cares if no one else likes it. I agree with chrisrehm, in that it is not and never will be a "World Class" beer, but neither is anything Busch or Miller made. They are still billion dollar companies and obvisouly, someone likes their beer. People who prefer micro-brews and European pilsners and ales will probably turn their nose up at Landshark, the same way they do to Busch and Miller products, and I undertand why. The quality and taste just isn't there.
But if I am at the beach or tailgating at a football game or a concert, I am not going to cruise around with a Pilsner Urquel, Bell's (well maybe one), Stella Artois, or Fat Tire. I enjoy them when I am at home or at a restaurant, not while partying on a sunny day or casual drinking with my buddies. Each beer has its place.
