I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. There must be enough of us who like it or they wouldn't be naming a stadium after it even if it turns out to be for only one season.

So I give it a rating of A+. That's just the opinion of me and my taste buds and I'm sticking to it.
That's ok. You're not alone. I drink a lot of beer and I like Landshark a lot. Don't really care much for Corona, but I really like Landshark (and so do many of my friends who couldn't care less about Jimmy Buffett or his branding).

I think it is a good beer and there is no shame in admitting that. Who cares if no one else likes it. I agree with chrisrehm, in that it is not and never will be a "World Class" beer, but neither is anything Busch or Miller made. They are still billion dollar companies and obvisouly, someone likes their beer. People who prefer micro-brews and European pilsners and ales will probably turn their nose up at Landshark, the same way they do to Busch and Miller products, and I undertand why. The quality and taste just isn't there.

But if I am at the beach or tailgating at a football game or a concert, I am not going to cruise around with a Pilsner Urquel, Bell's (well maybe one), Stella Artois, or Fat Tire. I enjoy them when I am at home or at a restaurant, not while partying on a sunny day or casual drinking with my buddies. Each beer has its place.

People will usually call it the "original name" (like up here, we won't call the TDBank Garden that, we will refer it as the Garden).
yeah.. I pretty much dare anyone to call Candlestick by any other name

Landshark for certain, was aimed at Parrot Heads to start. The marketing is an interesting one however, as they couldn't survive on just Parrot Heads. When they first started off, it was brewed in Budweiser's Jacksonville brewery. They have expanded however and I know there is at least one other brewery producing Landshark today, maybe more. I have yet to see a Landshark television comercial. Although, to be fair, I really don't watch TV all that much.

Is there a Landshark TV Comercial?

"Fair" price...interesting concept !!!

You mean like: printer ink cartridges, "gourmet" burgers, "luxury" cars, food at concert venues, t-shirt prices, bottled water, gasoline, Polo/Brooks Brothers clothing, jewelry...etc ?????

We all know that Corona and Land Shark are not good beers.

Corona is about marketing and paying a fee to attach itself to Bubba.

It was a marraige made in Bavaria.

Then Bubba made his own beer.

Land Shark is Bubba's beer.

And now one of the tour sponsors.

I have paid my royalities for his albums that I have bought.

I don't buy his books.

I do go to his shows.

But I never have a ticket.

Preying on those who are vunerable.

Twenty seven show later I have no regrets.

I will make it to thirty.

Will you?

A marrage made in Bavaria????

Pray tell, explain. :o

The ingredients in Corona are FORBIDDEN BY LAW (The Reinheitsgebot) in Bavaria to be used in beer.

This is very true. Corona, and Landshark for that matter, wouldn't even be considered beer in Bavaria. There are very specific, and limited, ingredients that are allowed to be used in the manufacturing of beer.

I like Land Shark. Not my favorite but I will pick up a six pack sometimes. I compare it more to Red Stripe than to Corona. It's more of an island or tropical beer, not a Mexican beer.

If I want something cold and refreshing on a hot day I'll drink water. I'll pee just as much but it costs a lot less.

Look,When you show up for a backyard party around here.We are going to hang around the pool,Dont leave your cell phone in your pocket, cause your going in.Listen to some good music (Loud) Play some Texas hold-em, The wives and girlfriends are going to congregate together and gossip .And us guys are going to discuss manly stuff like race cars and firearms.we are also going to flirt with the younger girls. So we cant get weighed down by some dark heavy beer Or gay beer.Your going to get Coors light,Landshark,Corona,Bud light,Keystone light.Thats about it.
If you ask for,or bring something else.Your going to get sent over to the wives section.

Sounds exactly like a party with my friends. Mind if we join you sometime? As I mentioned, I do have a great appreciation for great beer, however, as I said, it has its time and its place.

God bless the people of Texas.
