Would you be just as upset if they had called it Corona Stadium? Personally, I like the deal and I bet they'll be some elements added to the stadium that really enhance the experience at Dolphins games (and other events at Landshark Stadium)

I would agree with this assessment. I'm just surprised that they gave it a high mark of a D+. I give Landshark an F. As for the name of the stadium it doesn't matter. People will usually call it the "original name" (like up here, we won't call the TDBank Garden that, we will refer it as the Garden).

Pine Knob will always be Pine Knob.

If the Superdome ever gets a name no one will ever call it that. It'll always be The Louisiana Superdome no matter what.

I wish they would have bottled and marketed the Lone Palm Ale. I find that beer much better than the landsharks. Lone Palm can only be purchased in kegs.

Lone Palm isn't that bad. Not my first choice but I like it.

not really a beer snob or really a beer drinker ( give me the hard stuff)...landshark doesn't bother me...like Corona or bud light lime better!!!

I don't see how this will decrease sales at all. Outside of parrotheads, they are a lot of people that are not familiar with Landshark Lager. This deal will greatly increase awareness of the brand which will naturally lead to increased sales. Taste doesn't matter as much as name recognition when it comes to selling beer (as evidenced by the large volumes of Bud, Miller, and Coors consumed in this country)

Obviously those reviews were not written by true fans.

I've never been much of a beer drinker. But I liked Landshark the first time I drank it. Since then Landshark has become my favorite beer. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. There must be enough of us who like it or they wouldn't be naming a stadium after it even if it turns out to be for only one season.

So I give it a rating of A+. That's just the opinion of me and my taste buds and I'm sticking to it.

From the get-go I’ve been a beer drinker. I never bought the same beer twice in a row. I developed a refined pallet and began writing a book on beer in my late twenties. There was a point that I drank every beer available on the American market and could tell you about the each in depth.

Having set the lay of the land, I’ll say this: The assessment of Landshark… and Corona, are spot on correct. These beers don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of, in their wildest imagination, of ever being rated as a “World Class Beer”

They would never be spoken in the same sentence as Pilsner Urquel, Spaten, Young’s Bitter, Sierra Navada, or Anchor Steam. These beers are true, World Class Beers.

The Germans have a saying that goes something like “There’s no such thing as bad beer. It’s just some beers are better than others”.

Beers like Landshark, Budweiser, Corona, and Coors, certainly have their place! Ice cold on a hot summer day, they really can’t be beat and anyone who just finished mowing the yard, on a 92 degree day, sitting down to have a Sierra Nevada Porter, needs the see a psychiatrist!

However, it remains a true mystery why beers that cost the same to produce, such as Budweiser, Landshark and Coors can be priced so differently. This weekend I could buy a 12 pack of Budweiser or Coors for $10.99. Landshark was $15.99. Then again, there’s Corona. Corona costs far, far less than Landshark, Budweiser, or Coors to produce, as it’s made in Mexico, yet there are suckers out there delving out $16.99 for a twelve pack!!!!! Now here is a beer that SHOULD be selling for $6.99 a 12 pack, if you went by the cost to brew it and distribute it, while making a fair profit.
I’d raise the price a dollar and a half to support their advertising, which is far and away, perhaps the best advertising on telivision! Give credit where credit is due J

Landshark hardly advertises at all. The fair price for Landshark (produced in the U.S. by Anheuser Busch…. Budweiser) should be $9.99.

I do, however, find it fascinating that people actually pay for Landshark or Corona, the same price, often more, than they would for a world class beer. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was selling for $14.99 a twelve pack.

At my golf club, Sierra Nevada is $3.50 while Landshark is $4.00. Makes no sense at all.

I'm not a "beer" guy by any means (rum is my drink of choice) but I think that the Landshark is a pretty decent beer. on a hot summer day, an ice cold Landshark isn't bad. I only tried it because of the name but I usually keey a case in thr fridge during the summer.

I guess I will say this just for the record, it is not about the beer, the logo is very cool, the market intel probably says they can get a lot of the Mexican beer drinkers , if they stay the course, summertime, cold Landshark, slice of Lime. In addition, he is our guy, so we support him, and then there are a lot of people that would not know the difference. Bottom line, it is a PH thing, it is a Margaritaville thing, it is a JB thing, that is a lot of "good things".

I really do not like the Landshark Lager, it's way overpriced for what you get.
