Twice for me, too. Same shows. Same grin, I think, too!!!!
People around me were confused, tho. Didn't recognize the song.

I used to hate the song, but now I love it! Go figure.

Charlotte '08 for my too. For 38 degrees, that was a helluva show last year. When he said he was going to do it, my head almost exploded!

I saw it, way back in the day. At King's Dominion and Meriwhether Post.
I never cared for it. That was always tme to freshen up the beer situation.

Yes, In Charlotte last year. As an encore, by himself. Many of the somewhat younger crowd were puzzled by it, but the older faithful were amazed. I know I was.

I saw JB perform G.O.D. in the early 80's at Carowinds, In 1990 at Charlotte Memorial Stadium (the imfamous 45 minute show, I was on the front row!), and in Atlanta on the Stumpo the Bando tour. I believe I have seen him sing 1 other time but can't specically recal. Anyone ever see him play "The Lawyer and the a**hole" which he only performed live in 1983 and/or 1984. A very funny song in response to not being able to play G.O.D.

I can't believe I forgot last year in Charlotte!! I was so stoked after the show!

I've seen him perform in back in the eighties and then recently. I distinctly remember Jimmy playing "The Lawyer and the A$$hole" the year after he was banned from playing G.O.D. I was laughing my a$$ off (and it wasn't Utley's plastic a$$).

Funny tho... seeing Charleston tripping on something at the very end there... Gives me lots of reassurance that Jimmy is in good hands!!!
