Landshark Stadium logo

Sharp-eyed colleague Ted Hutton, who was covering Thursday’s Marlins-Atlanta Braves game, looked up about an hour after the game ended and saw the Dolphin Stadium scoreboard outfitted with the LandShark Stadium logo. He snapped this photo quickly – when he looked up again, the image was gone. In anticipation of Friday’s press conference in which Jimmy Buffett and Dolphins owner Stephen Ross are to announce a business deal that is to include the branding of the Dolphins’ home as LandShark Stadium for one season, enjoy.
not a Dolphins fan but i agree Tommy it would look better in the Dolphins' colors!!!TommyBahama wrote:Very cool....but should do it in The Dolphins Colors!!!
I'm sure the logo and colors are trademarkedflipflopgirl wrote:not a Dolphins fan but i agree Tommy it would look better in the Dolphins' colors!!!TommyBahama wrote:Very cool....but should do it in The Dolphins Colors!!!
I disagree. That's the logo for Landshark. The stadium is being named for the beer, not the team. No other corporate logo has changed to team colors...that would defeat the purpose of product recognition.TommyBahama wrote:Very cool....but should do it in The Dolphins Colors!!!
Yup---would be like COKE changing their colors to match each stadium---not going to happenBrown Eyed Girl wrote:I disagree. That's the logo for Landshark. The NY Jests and NY Giants both play in New Jersey.Salukulady wrote:Dolphins...mammal....LandShark...fish? Well, the first LandShark I remember was Chevy Chase and last time I checked he was a mammal.
Nothing can be as ridiculous as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim....(Anaheim's in Orange County).

Remember when BN used to be fun?
Wow, did they always. And how far is it from NY to Jersey? The thing with the Angels, originally they were called The Los Angeles Angels and played in L.A. When they moved to Anaheim in 1965 they became The California Angels and played in the Big A. When Disney bought them they renamed them the Anaheim Angels. In 2005 a new owner bought them and renamed them The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, not because they originated from L.A., but because he really thought if he tacked on Los Angeles more people from L.A. would drive all the way down here for games.LIPH wrote:The NY Jests and NY Giants both play in New Jersey.Salukulady wrote:Dolphins...mammal....LandShark...fish?
