Ok, I'm a die-hard Dolphin's fan being born and raised in Lauderdale, and obviously a serious Parrothead to boot. But this just kinda irks me as a sports fan:

He's always been a Saint's fan! Always! Saints, Cubs, and the Heat.

Not to get into my personal belief that the stadium should be renamed Joe Robbie as it originally was, but c'mon! Hey, business is business, but worlds are colliding here for me and this is kinda ridiculous... and I know, its only temporary, and won't even be named this after the end of the regular Dolphins season according to the Miami Herald...

Good for the Landshark brand to get some better exposure, but if I see Jimmy in a Aqua and Orange Jersey next year I'm calling BS...

Why do you think U2 and The Rolling Stones stopped coming to New Orleans on their tours? Why do you think FLA got stuck with Disney? I know where it was going to go, the spot they had picked out, in LA.

Besides, a hurricane hits Miami, you don't have to worry about the roof of Joe Robbie Stadium blowing off at all.

Big deal....I look at it this way, there is only one team I'm a die hard fan of....the Montreal Canadiens....have been since I was an infant. In a few years, we're planning on moving to the Tampa area, and I'm sure I'll follow those teams, except when they play the Habs. Now, if I were to win the Powerball, and the owners of the Tampa Bay Lightning came to me to become a minority owner, I'd probably jump at the opportunity, and be a fan of them, even though I'd still love my Habs.
C'mon, it's every boys dream to play major league sports, and when that dream dies, the next best thing would be to own the team. Good for Jimmy......if you've got the money, why not live your dreams.
