A Rare Opportunity for Collectors of Dept. 56

Post by SMLCHNG »

Hi there,

My sister's neighborhood is hosting a multi-family garage sale this Friday and Saturday, and we're helping my folks out by selling some of their items while my father is back in the hospital.

For many years, my father has collected Dept. 56 "Christmas in the City" buildings. Due to his failing health, he's no longer able to enjoy the hobby he loved so much.

Before we put these out at the garage sale, I wanted to give any new collectors, future collectors, or those who gift collections to others a chance to save a bunch of money. This would make a great gift to children to start them on a fun, and valuable collection.

If you are interested in getting any of these rare pieces at half off of the ORIGINAL retail price, please reply here, or PM me. They will likely sell quickly, especially if someone knows their value.

Attached is a list of the items for sale, and a link to the website if you want to look up the pieces.

Thank you,
Penny & Kathy

If I was a collector or a dealer, I would take them all your prices are very enticing.
Rub yours on me and I'll rub mine on you

I wish I did collect the houses---and I wish I had the room to display them.

I'm sure this collection will go fast.

Good luck Penny and Kathy [smilie=hearts.gif]

z - I'll probably pick up the pieces from my sister on the 24th. I'll get the total $ of the pieces, and then of the shipping. I get a pretty good discount from work with FedEx, so I'll include that, too. :) Thanks again.
