Marcia Ball

Post by LIPH »

I know some of her songs but I've never seen her in concert. I just got my weekly email from BB King's club with the list of upcoming shows and she's going to be there June 1. Anybody ever see her live and is it worth going?

I missed her recent show in Greenville due to the floods and high wind ... I talked to her for about 30 minutes for the feature and found her to be just delightful. Love watching her on Austin City Limits ... she's so full of joy and positive energy.

Hope you get to see her.
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.

She puts on an excellent show. Swings those incredibly long legs as she rocks the piano and sings. Great music, great show. Go.

She's been at our Bluesfest a few times.

Jeanie aka Dancin'Queen had dinner with her a couple weeks ago. I'm sure she'd tell you it's worth your time to go see her.

The weekly email from BB King's always has a link for comp and discount tickets. I clicked on it and this show was 50% off. Of course, by time all the Ticketmaster fees were added the price of a $26.50 ticket at 50% off came to $23.60.

She's really good. I would go if I wasn't already planning to see her at Crawfish Fest.
