I think the rumor of the Landshark Stadium show makes a lot of sense for four reasons:
1) I don't think Jimmy could resist playing a concert in "his" stadium.
2) It's only "his" stadium through the end of the regular season, not much time.
3) It would make sense to take the dates down from margaritaville as soon as possible so people would stop making plans.
4) I know from painful experience how long the tiniest details take to hash out in contract negotiations between two large entities. It *always* takes longer than anyone would believe it could. That would explain the delay in some kind of explanation.

So, for right now, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait patiently.

last time I had cheeseburger pizza at Cici's it kinda sucked

CiCi's is good for lunch. I am more a thick-crust kinda guy. Good doughy crust, brushed with garlic olive oil, good spicy marinara sauce, two different types of cheese.. pepperoni, green peppers, onions, black and green olives, tomatoes, sausage, and another layer of cheese over the top.. mmmmmmmm

Facts are, there was plenty of tix available for SD last year, as a Thursday in October is not gonna get Jimmy a sellout here anymore.
If you can't sell out in Las Vegas on a Saturday night, it ain't worth his effort.

Maybe the reason Las Vegas didn't sell out is because tickets have gotten SO G.D. expensive for some people.
Maybe Jimmy has chosen "not to participate" in the recession, but for many of his fans, they don't have a choice.

(Las Vegas shows are usually priced about 1/3 higher than at other venues-I'm sure the fact that Jimmy receives 110% of the gross has nothing to do with it).

There's a bunch of people who are fans but aren't members of parrothead clubs. So just screw the west coast fans? West coast fans don't matter? That's a rather crappy attitude if you ask me. Maybe if he wouldn't lie so damn much to his west coast fans he'd have more.

By the time the show comes around, if it does in October, it will be almost three years since a south Florida show. I have been fortunate to have seen six shows in that time so I haven't been upset about it. I will happily attend the show when it happens though. I had planned on heading out west. I need to change my sig line!

I'm not happy at all about the 4 plane tickets I have to LV, but no way would I boycott this show if it happens. I already chatted with the family and we all think Miami in October sounds too good to resist.
