1. Remain angry and boycott.
2. Mortgage the house and make reservations early on.
3. Wait until dates are very close before buying tix. Of course this may result in the appearance of lack of interest resulting in more canellations.
4. Go to the beach and have a beer while listening to Buffett.
5. Paint the garage.
6. Go to see Kenny Chesney instead.
7. Who cares?
8. Laugh at scalpers (oops, brokers) who may get screwed.

I'll worry about that next year. First, there are 10 shows between Mansfield and Manassas we have to go to.
Unless they get cancelled, of course.

Make reservations that can be cancelled and wait for him to jerk them off Margaritaville or tickets to go on sale.
As far as no announcement - well it's better than what he's done this year

For years he's been saying he's spending our money foolishly. This year, in one of the pre-show interviews he told Savannah "We're not participating in this recession."

Well, maybe the fans are. Most of us aren't out of touch millionaires.

I'll be sitting back waiting for all the duplicate threads to be posted complaining about the dates and cities he is or isn't going to.

I tell you what I wont do:
I wont plan a vacation around a concert until those concert tix GO ON SALE AND I HAVE PURCHASED MINE. That is when a concert goes from actual rumor to confirmed date.
Belive me, I feel for the people who were planning on LV in the Fall, but those really were not confirmed dates

I'm sorry but I have to disagree - when the man himself puts out a youtube or google earth announcing shows then they are confirmed dates - otherwise he's just a liar and playing with people because he can.

If I plan a trip well in advance, I'll purchase room and airfare that I can either cancel without penalty or pay a small fee to revise.

And to answer the question at hand:
You only have 2 options... having fun or freaking out!
The parrothead community seems to be experiencing a massive freak out!

I'll do what I've been doing the last few years. Wait patiently until there's no chance of a Denver date being announced, then sob uncontrollably in the basement while I plot nefarious schemes.

I understand, but look what it got people. Live and learn I guess. It is all corporate crapola now, you should have seen the Vegas crowd. My wife and I were the ONLY ones standing and dancing. I told the people around me "24 shows and I aint sat at one yet, aint gonna start now"...What a bunch of chumps. We ended up moving a whole section back after being invited up there after they watched us go rounds with the sitters and security. Then we got crazy with the real fans (yep I said REAL fans)!!!!
Thats what happens when casinos give tix away to people just for gambling with them....

The Miami crowds are just as bad. We had nosebleed seats and got yelled at for standing. I know someone on the floor at that same show who was getting yelled at so much he turned around and said "This is Buffett - not effein Pavarotti"

I honestly thought the crowd this past Saturday was one of the best I've seen in Vegas (not in size, but in reaction). From up front in the 4th row, it sounded a lot louder than in the past and Jimmy even made a comment about how strong it was that night. I really think if there were problems with people sitting in the back etc....it likely had more to do with random people buying the excess broker inventory for $5 or $10 a ticket than anything else. Most of the comps are going to get good seats and almost everyone up front was standing, dancing, and having fun (except for 2 idiots near me that came in an hour late and left at intermission)
