When first posted, I was 95% sure I wouldn't be attending..
Now, the more I think about it, this could be do-able..5 non stops a day on SW....
I'm gonna have to start dealing to pay for it....
no need to get particularly serious until tickets go on sale.
early Nov is a slow time down here,
months from now there will still be plenty of flights and rooms available at relatively low prices.
i really need to try and figure this one out!!!!.....MOTM....coming back that Monday.....Friday night fly to Orlando....could get expensive!!...you live once....and to Party with my Florida family...well worth it!!
Once the condo closes, start your job hunt down here...
you could/should be a Florida resident by then and not have to worry about backing and forthing!

I definitely plan on being there. Also thinking about fitting a cruise in as well or, as bad as I hate to say it, might possibly be the right time to do the duty and take the keet to see the mouse. Never been to an Orlando show. Only Tampa and Tallahassee. How's the tailgating at Amway compared to Tampa?

in years past, Orlando tailgating was much better than Tampa.
the last Orlando concert (Feb 2007) they sold reserved parking rather than the old first-come-first served parking and that scattered the early arrivals rather than letting everyone set up in the north lot.

If I remember, it was only $10.
The cost wasn't the problem, it was that they didn't allow you in without a parking ticket.
In the past, the North lot was FULL by 11AM, and the party went all day.
last time it filled more slowly, and with less enthusiasm
Ms Sammie and I discussed Orlando last night, and Ms Sammie really wants to go to Disney land. Well, Okay I want to go to Disney Land, so I will kill 2 birds with one stone and be there. I was able to take my plane ticket that I had bought for Las Vegas in October and change it for Orlando. I am booked in the Mariot Orlando downtown right across the street from the arena.
Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

Okay, I have a question! I'm going to assume that quite a few people who have posted in this thread have been to Amway Arena. What is this arena like? I mean, is it a small venue?
Coming to Orlando in November when the Midwest is starting to get cold is becoming more and more inviting by the second.
