Ravi read a calendar. Stay tune for next week's episode: Ravi tells time.
Nope. I know my birthday, which is 6 days prior, is on a Sunday. BTW, check the title of the thread....
When we met at Mohegan last year Ravi correctly read the "Push" sign on the door leaving the bar and did not, as I expected, "Pull". Ravi didn't drink enough that day.
Anywho . . . I will be there as I am will be a full time New Englander again . . . it was either move for the 67th time in 3 years or stay home for my aunt's Thanksgiving dinner. I like Thanksgiving dinner.
I do things the hard way.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
It's such a small arena that seats behind the stage aren't bad at all. Only problem was i was so bombed that when he was doing fins, I couldn't figure out why he was doing it backwards--going right while singing "Fins to the left" and vice versa. It got me awfully confused.

Sounds easy to do.

Unless I hit a number or come in to a large sum, Orlando will have to do....
Keep an eye on last-minute Mohegan tickets, though. They might go for cheap if it's not sold out. Mohegan is do-able without a hotel room but you gotta have a driver or scale way back on drinking... Or there's either a motel 6 or super 8 in Groton that's pretty cheap for last minute...

Or if you have an RV, you can stay in the lot overnight. That's what we do.

we used to do the RV thing... pretty sweet deal! Find your spot the night before and rise and shine ready for some serious tailgating! This year we're at the micro-cheapo place. Its actually not bad there, rooms are decent and prices are .. well.. cheap!

you don't have to necessarily scale back....just don't drink in the arena...that's about 3-4 hours of sobering up!!....and Jen's right wait and you can get a deal on tix!!!
We booked our room for Friday & Saturday night, it's great that the hotel we're staying at has free shuttle service to Mohegan Sun. We're just going to party at the tailgating & at M'ville and hope to get some tickets that day.

Well....I suppose I could book a room first since most places have a pretty relaxed cancellation policy. Then see what happens. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Well just do it -I booked my rooms way back when it was first announced -cancellation policy is 24 hrs in advance - not a problem!
