I'm quite excited!!!......now to find a place to sleep...... 8) 8) 8) :D :D :D :D :D

Good for you! Would imagine the Bering Sea flag will be up front and center for JB to see. Sharron and I will be "ranging" while standing on the floor in our assigned spots. How come I am always looking up at you at concerts? Arriving on 23rd and now for a hotel.

No Paris for me this year, my wife and I are about to have our first kid. While it will be about 3 1/2 months old by the time of the show, I dont think that is old enough for a Buffett show. Though for the standing room only I could carry the baby in one of those baby bjorn things, and just put some ear plugs in the ears............... :D

While you say that laughing, there was a family like that at the Paris concert last year. Baby bottles and all.

I think the baby was a little older than 3-1/3 months, but not by much, and they had a big pair of headphones on him for the show! And congrats!

We stood next to them at the concert last year, they were looking for any pictures anybody had taken of baby's first JB concert.

So I told my wife about the couple with the baby there last year, and in fact she remembered them and actually spoke to them for awhile before the show. Unfortuantely she did not think it was a good idea to bring out 3+ month old to the show........so I am still out for this year.

It was worth a try......

You should get her the newest bay book: "What to Expect when you're expecting to take your baby to the Jimmy Buffett show"

It'll show her all the in's and out's and the stuff every responsible expectant parrothead should know......

So......When are you arriving? Where are you staying????

Does anyone know of a good place to meet before the show for a pre show party???
How about a post show party.....(last year the Pizza place on the corner was awesome!!! The Greque Pizza was most excellent!!!!)
Last year people talked about doing a lunch or dinner cruise on the river......

We have no particular itinerary at this point, tho wifey-poo has been on a mission to find the best lemon tart and lemon Crepe in paris (she has been on this quest since 2002)......me, I could go for a Mille Floure anytime.......then again Ice cream on Isle St. Louis is always good.......

:D :D :D 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

We are arriving on the Friday mid afternoon and leaving on the Sunday afternoon. We have booked in at the Hotel Cordelia which is near the Opera so we can get on the Roissy bus from the airport which takes you to the Opera and then it is only a short walk to the hotel. We have stayed there before and can recommend it.
A pre show party and also a post show party is a good idea. Any suggestions?

Guys - you are so far in front of me......

All I have worked out so far is that we will make the trip to Paris on the way home from our house further south. Will park (as last year) at the airport and get the RER train in. Thanks for the hotel name at Opera, will try it when I get a moment. We have family staying at the moment.

Love the idea of pre and post show party - count me in.

Dutch - I do a good Tarte au Citron - should I bring one with me
