While it will be about 3 1/2 months old by the time of the show, I dont think that is old enough for a Buffett show. Though for the standing room only I could carry the baby in one of those baby bjorn things, and just put some ear plugs in the ears...............
We stood next to them at the concert last year, they were looking for any pictures anybody had taken of baby's first JB concert.VashonPH wrote:I think the baby was a little older than 3-1/3 months, but not by much, and they had a big pair of headphones on him for the show! And congrats!
Thanks for sharing this info, I will discuss it with my wife and maybe will come after all!he came from london wrote:We stood next to them at the concert last year, they were looking for any pictures anybody had taken of baby's first JB concert.VashonPH wrote:I think the baby was a little older than 3-1/3 months, but not by much, and they had a big pair of headphones on him for the show! I think they were asking on last years post, I am sure they will see this. I seem to remember they lived in Germany.Dutch Harbor PH wrote:he came from london wrote:We stood next to them at the concert last year, they were looking for any pictures anybody had taken of baby's first JB concert.VashonPH wrote:I think the baby was a little older than 3-1/3 months, but not by much, and they had a big pair of headphones on him for the show! You should get her the newest bay book: "What to Expect when you're expecting to take your baby to the Jimmy Buffett show"labatt1876 wrote:So I told my wife about the couple with the baby there last year, and in fact she remembered them and actually spoke to them for awhile before the show. Unfortuantely she did not think it was a good idea to bring out 3+ month old to the show........so I am still out for this year.
It was worth a try......
Not to criticise anyones baby, BUT, the baby was hopeless during fins, kept going the wrong way.Dutch Harbor PH wrote:You should get her the newest bay book: "What to Expect when you're expecting to take your baby to the Jimmy Buffett show"labatt1876 wrote:So I told my wife about the couple with the baby there last year, and in fact she remembered them and actually spoke to them for awhile before the show. We are arriving on the Friday mid afternoon and leaving on the Sunday afternoon. We have booked in at the Hotel Cordelia which is near the Opera so we can get on the Roissy bus from the airport which takes you to the Opera and then it is only a short walk to the hotel. We have stayed there before and can recommend it.Dutch Harbor PH wrote:So......When are you arriving? Where are you staying????
Does anyone know of a good place to meet before the show for a pre show party???
How about a post show party.....(last year the Pizza place on the corner was awesome!!! The Greque Pizza was most excellent!!!!)
Last year people talked about doing a lunch or dinner cruise on the river......
We have no particular itinerary at this point, tho wifey-poo has been on a mission to find the best lemon tart and lemon Crepe in paris (she has been on this quest since 2002)......me, I could go for a Mille Floure anytime.......then again Ice cream on Isle St. Louis is always good.......
