A friend at work said there was an NPR story today (sorry no link) about how happy everyone is in Paris now (just returned from month holiday and weather is wonderful and sunny and NOT rainy) and what a great time to visit. http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/b ... v_business
70's and kind of sunny sound pretty good......
And raccoons brought wine and the mice they brought cheese...
Wow only 11 days and getting nearer. After searching for my travel guide books and map had some luck yesterday found the Paris guide books with another book called 'training your brain part 1' - very appropriate. Still no map, thought I had better find training your brain part 2 and then maybe I could find it. Resorted to buying a new map today and then got up this morning and thought I have not looked to see if I had already put it with the tickets ages ago and wow it was there. The safe place after all was with my flight tickets. This map/book is to be recommended it is called The Paris Mapguide (the one to carry with you) it is by Michael Middleditch it is a small Penguin book and has everything in maps, hotels, metro, bus routes and I would not travel to Paris without it. Like Jimmy says I think 'I had a senior moment'.
