I'm told the K West Hotel & Spa is even closer than the Hilton Kensington - similar price but both £10 more than when I looked a few days ago so rooms are obviously going fast, I'll make my mind up quickly & book. We're looking forward to meeting up with some of the crowd we met in Paris last year - the couple from London who had biked over, the DJs from Wolverhampton. We're the English couple Jo & Richard, short wife & REALLY tall husband !!

OK - next question. I want to buy "standing," right? that'll keep us low, and out of the balconies? I find it hard to believe that those aren't sold out yet, if they are indeed the lower level, so just want to make sure I"m not doing anything particularly flakey (gee, me??)

Looking at what tickets are now available it looks as though there is only Level 3 Standing/Seating available. It appears that they may have sold out of the lower level!    [smilie=cwl.gif] [smilie=cwl.gif]

Maybe we ended up with the wrong ones, but we bought "standing" from gigsandtours.com, which was linked through margaritaville.com; I was a little nervous, because level 3 was only available through the other sites, but we were able to order and today confirmed that they'd be held at will call. I guess, worst-case, they're not the good seats we'd hoped they were and we end up in an upper level. But since it wasn't associated with a level on the site or saying "unreserved seating" like the other sites were showing, I think we might be safe. Still closer than lawns at most shows we go to!

I bet the scalpers have bought them up - I don't believe 1400 or so tickets have been sold to fans

Hi,
I now have a spare ticket for the concert as DH couldn't get the time off work-does anyone need a ticket in the stalls? I will pass it on to a good home for face value.

What time is everyone getting to the venue?

As I said earlier, there are loads of tickets available at premium prices from the ticket sites - worldticketshop seem to have an unlimited number (I tried 30 just to see!) at £131 each. Makes me mad as hell [smilie=disgust.gif]
