We just returned from Lulupalooza at Lulu's at Homeport in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Besides Margaritaville Panama City, Lulu's is our favorite daycation location. Great food, music and fun! The real treat was Lulu's new brew, Crazy Sista Honey Ale. She just rolled it out this weekend in draft form. Bottles will be available at the gift shop soon. I am no beer expert, but it passed my taste test very nicely. I did my best to enjoy Landshark when it first came out, but I couldn't enjoy it long term. I'm not here to reopen the Landshark fury but just wanted to let anyone know that might visit Lulu's, try the Crazy Sista brew. Not bad stuff!

I have *got* to get down to the Gulf Coast!!

I will be there next week. Planning on hanging with Brent Burns one day....gonna make it a Gulf Coast Day....Or should I say..Life on the Gulf...

BTW Life on the Gulf is STILL on my answering machine...and everyone that calls me LOVES that song!!!

We like the logo also. Got the t-shirt in the gift shop.

I really want to go to Lulu's. Maybe some day I will visit my niece in Alabama, and I can convince her to take me there, but Lulu's is a 5-hour drive from where my niece lives. Maybe some day.

We were there about a year ago and had the worst food we have ever had.
I guess it was a bad night, the service was awful, VERY long wait (hours), food was bad, but the band was fun.
Husband ordered a cheeseburger and it was still frozen.

Like I said, maybe we were just there on the wrong night....

That certainly can happen. You can have one cook that is not paying attention to the job and totally screw up. Who knows, maybe enough complaints took place and the cook hopefully was dealt with.
