I am starting to have my doubts, but am remaining hopeful due to the fact that it is still listed JB's website....

I am wondering if they are having a hard time negotiating something? Or if they think parking/tailgating would be an issue?

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed!

I can tell you that from the standpoint of "sound quality" this is a TERIFFIC venue!

I have every intention of being there at this point!

Agreed. I saw Springsteen and DMB here earlier this year. While I prefer outdoor venues for Jimmy, JPJ is a great indoor place to see a concert.

Definitely agreed. I've seen several events here including Billy Joel and James Taylor....it's a great venue and would be an awesome place to see Jimmy.....

Buddy - That is awesome that he actually mentioned being in C-ville....what did he say??

Beachescape - We were at Thursday's show, too - it was great! But no mention of C-ville during the Thursday show that I heard....

BB - From everything I've seen - the C-ville show would be part of the Summerzcool tour.....

I was at the Thursday show and he did not mention it. If you listen to the Saturday show (you can download it from the share concert board) you'll here him mention it twice towards the end. The last time he says something like" I'll see you in Charlottesville in November. When I know the date I'll let you know".

Seems like he has a large wish list in November........we'll have to wait and see. My hopes are up though!

I was at the Saturday show and you're right, he did mention it a couple times. My guess is that theyr'e still trying to sort out timing conflicts with UVA basketball to get into JPJ.

I'll be there. I just hope the show isn't the next one to be removed. I drank too much at the last Nissan show and didn't remember much of the show. So I need another Buffett fix for the year to make up for it.

I was seriously thinking about going to this show. It would be another new venue for me and Virginia has to be warmer than LI in November but I'm out. I'm going to a concert in NYC the night before so there's no way I can make it.
