I like to make it to new venues whenever I can but this is looking mighty doubtful right about now.

Hope you'll consider coming to Cville for this show. JPJ is an exceptional venue! I've seen a couple dozen shows/concerts/games there since they opened. Shout if you need tips on places to stay and eat C'mon down, Y'all!

I can tell you that from the standpoint of "sound quality" this is a TERIFFIC venue!

I have every intention of being there at this point!

I saw it's currently TBD for ticket sales... any estimates on how much JB's tix co$t at JPJ?

It's a long way off, but I'll probably plan to work in the area, so I can attend the show. Might need a propane heater at the tailgate for this one!

I saw Bruce Springsteen there earlier this month and tickets were between $65 and $130.

not a bad idea but you never know in this area. it could be in the 60s!

There are two surface lots (large) and they will likely sell "premium" parking or something. It's worth getting when you purchase tickets. One lot is right in front of JPJ and the others are at U-Hall. There are plenty of other lots/garages close by.

No info on when tickets are going on sale for the JPJ show. I keep asking around and checking the JPJ site frequently. I'm guessing that this show isn't making headlines because a) "where's charlottesville?" b) MOTM is right before this show. But I'll keep a close eye to the local sources anyway I'm excited!

Jake Shimubukuro is scheduled to appear with Jimmy at this one, which means I'll HAVE to work some magic and try to pull this off.

I would be off work at this time, but fairly fresh out of the hospital, would be great, not that far, but no way...


UM, for those of us that do not know the Venue Name...could you spell it out? JPJ does not mean much to me

The new basketball arena at UVa. It's about 3 years old now.

Will someone please let me know when tickets go on-sale? Haven't been back to UVA since graduation. They know how to party!!!!!
