IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CAMDEN PIT TICKETS!!!!!

Post by big john »

I went into the ticketmaster sight to check on the status of my order. Lo and behold, my pit row 7,
seats 7 and 8 had been changed to sec 202, row J, seats 45 and 46! I called ticketmaster and asked
WTF! THEY SAID THE PIT TICKETS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD AND THEY WERE SUBSITUTING
"COMPARABLE TICKETS". I said, "Comparable my ass!" So I got my order cancelled over the phone.
Anyone who just bought pit tickets in the last few days better check their order status pronto. :pirate:

I'm really wondering about the legality of just "taking the tickets back"...

TM already has enough heat on them in NJ - can't believe that this is legal. I'm sure the media would be all over this like they were with the Springsteen mess.

It is like you buying a sofa and then having the store come back a few days later and saying sorry we sold the to you by mistake.

The tickets in Sections 202 are not comparable by any means. I'm filing a complaint with every official consumer organization in NJ.

Have you thought about alerting the Philadelphia and New York TV stations, if you are willing to do this? You know how much companies LOVE being harassed by the media when they screw customers.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

They can put the Landshark VIPs in section 202! There seems to be a lot of seats available there.

At Merriweather several years ago I got two tickets through TM at the end of a row that ended up being a designated Seagrams section. Those people grilled us about how we got our seats because they did not recognize us. They were downright rude and nasty. I told them that I have been going to Buffett shows for 30 something years I didn't feel I had to explain where I got my tickets to ANYONE. Most of them left shortly after intermission so we had the whole section to ourselves by the end of the show.

Seat 6

did anyone have that taken away from them?

Just an FYI, This is still being discussed in the original Thread. Dunno if this one was necessary.

Check your TM account. TM is charging a processing fee for those tickets that they "shouldn't
have sold". If you call customer service and ask for a supervisor they will take it off. :pirate:

The Attorney Generals Office?

Just as a suggestion:

Anne Milgram is the Attorney General of New Jersey. SHe is the one who is pursuing TM and several other ticket agencies for the Bruce Springsteen fiasco of having tickets go directly to TicketExchange and for scalping tickets not on sale yet, respectively. Since she has TM in her sights, might be worth dropping her office an e-mail.

This is an article from her office about the recent ticket broker actions, but her office contact info is in the article:

I filed a complaint with them first because I knew they were investigating the Springsteen ticket mess.

I shot an email to WPVI 6 ABC in Philly. Don't know if it will do any good but I couldn't stand around and do nothing. I didn't even buy the faux pit tix, it still p***es me off!
