SBH is notorious for it's short runway.
You gotta know when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em.

Either the wind is really bad there or the camera man was drinkin.
Thankfully it would appear that nobody was hurt.

Wow!
My daughter the pilot was impressed... short runway and shortage of decisiveness to abort and try again!

Merde!
I wonder if they keep a list of planes (and pilots) who have done the same thing?
A long time a go an acquaintance of mine (more "friend of a friend," really) was standing on that beach admiring the sea. A plane overshot the runway and the wingtip struck him from behind, breaking his shoulder.

Same thing happened last time I was there. Didn't see the landing but saw them pulling the plane off the beach. Landing there is always fun, woohoo

I looked it up and the runway at SBH is only 2100' long.
Now I know why Jimmy owns a float equipped plane for bopping around the Caribbean.

I find it strange, though, that Jimmy registers his fleet in Delaware. Anybody got any idea why that is?

I don't know the details, but there are benefits (financial and tax related, I'm sure) to being incorporated in the state of Delaware.
