QUICK! Can anyone name boxing's current heavyweight champion(s). Hint .... there are multiple champions due to the multiple acronymed fight organizations (and two of the champions are Russian brothers).
Boxing has gone downhill for years ... particularly the heavyweight division. Very few Americans hold title belts these days ... we seem to be more interested in Ultimate Fighting (no I am not talking about BN threads).
Gone are some glory days of boxing and classic fighters with personalities .... Mohammad Ali, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard. I don't think I can even name any of the top U.S. contenders of today.
I agree with ya SP...I remember when HBO and Showtime used to have Championship boxing on regularly, and when Tyson fought in a unification tournament to unify all the belts. Sadly, I can't remember the last fight I watched.....and I don't get into the Ultimate fighting or wrestling. Even Olympic boxing isn't what it once was. I'd have to say I quit watching boxing when Lennox Lewis retired....and even his last few fights were boring due to the lack of a real opponent.

Y'know, I guess it has been years since I heard my dad say anything about boxing. He watched all the fights when I was a kid... I remember when Pay Per View on HBO was pretty new... I'll see my dad this weekend. Might give us something to chat about!

Is this going to be a "real" boxing match? How are you going to justify a heavyweight (Casual T) vs a featherweight (Balboobie)?
Or is it going to be Wii boxing?? If so, here's my choice for the ring girl.
