Well, ringling, think of them as being Gary Bettman. Ha ha.

Yeahhh, it wasn't exactly what the mod pointed out, it was more of a observation about someone that is consistently nonsensical with a cultural reference thrown in to tie it together.

 Not funny.
And not an observation. You made a direct negative comment toward another poster. It'd be very appreciated if you'd stop all the negativity.

The comment about the thread's title being inaccurate given what the discussion had been about is accurate and OK enough. The "cultural reference" to Sarah Palin, though, was about as relevant as a remark about Julius Caesar would have been. Frankly, I haven't heard diddly-squat about her since the election, although I don't spend all day surfing through the gossip blogs or reading "People" magazine or the "Enquirer", either. And since I don't feel like reading your posts and doing Google searches simultaneously, who or what the heck is Gary Bettman?

Not trying to kiss up to the moderators; just making an observation that maybe you need to tighten up the focus of your own postings and stay a little closer to the subject matter yourself.

Palin has been of face lately because of David Letterman, hence the reference. Gary Bettman is the commissioner of the National Hockey League who totally disrespected Detroit and wanted (and according to some people actually, essentially, fixed it to be so that) Pittsburgh could win the Stanley Cup.
