After a so-so effort (for him, anyway) with his last book ("Your Heart Belongs to Me"), Dean Koontz comes back with a vengeance with "Relentless". I think it's his best work since "The Husband".
Any other fans of Dean Ray here?

YES ! I have every book he's written in my bookcases. I am SO glad to hear it's good.
I think my most favorite book of his is "Lightning". The Odd Thomas books are a little out there, but really good.

I thought the first "Odd Thomas" tome was superb -- it really focused on the personalities and lives of the characters involved, and I loved the Elvis inclusion. The other three are good but not as good as the original.
My only complaint with "Relenteless" is that I wish it were 700 pages instead of just over 350.

"Relentless" is also relentless on the bestseller list -- #1 on Publisher's Weekly. The New York Times list hasn't been updated on their website yet.
