A plane went down yesterday near Biwabik, MN, a small town north of the Twin Cities in an area known as the Iron Range of Minnesota. Reports are that it is northern Minnesota's worst air disaster.

From the local media:
"Northern Minnesota's worst air disaster occurred today when a Cessna 152, a small 2-seat airplane, crashed into the cemetery of the Biwabik Norwegian Lutheran Church while attempting to land early this morning.
Ole Olson and Sven Larson, working as a search and rescue team, have recovered 826 bodies so far. The number is expected to climb as digging continues."
