Wino you know wrote:I still haven'r read "Swine Not."
I've had it for quite a while now, but just haven't gotten around to reading it.
I liked "Swine Not" just sort of a sweet fun book

I was in Panama City Beach a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit, I became keenly aware of the increase in all the jet ski activity in the previously remote areas of the bay. I had to think about Blanton Meyercord and giggle.

That's pretty funny....I thought about him when I was in Marco Island this Febuary....he's everywhere.

The book itself is his best, to me, and the real treat about it is that he not only gave us hints of the new songs he was working on that would be on the next 2 out of 3 records but that they were actually part of the stories.

ASPOL is an OK book - the song is better, actually, ha ha. It's a bit long and gets a little bogged down within the character and the adventure of. Overall it turns out OK and it's nice that he went back and visited a character everyone liked from TFM.

Now if he would just do a follow up to WIJM? ha ha.

Just got done reading "I Wish Lunch Would Last forever" from TFM, I had forgotten what a great song that was.

IWLCLF is a good song. It's a little gushy in places but overall it's just a nice sweet tune.

That whole album is odd sound wise. Song wise it's pretty good.

Has JB ever mentioned any kind of a follow up to Where Is Joe Merchant? Seems like he might like to do something with it. I dunno.
