I can't find the article but in the Harrisburg paper there was a story about a guy
who got drunk at the Camden concert. He passed out and his buddies put him in the
luggage compartment of a chartered bus in the tailgating lot. He woke up in Lancaster
County (he was from New Jersey) about 70 miles west of Camden. No charges were
filed and he was sent home.

So having grown up in a family of diehard parrotheads I have heard many great stories about Buffett tailgates. So when we were invited to come down and party with Sunset Chef Billy before the June 20th Camden show I was thrilled! My daughters were so excited too since thier father and I raised them on a healthy dose of Buffett daily. Chef Billy told us all about the food, drinks and fun to be had and I have to say he was sooo right! We had a blast! Even in the rain..which bringing 3 teenage girls that could have turned out disasterous but as soon as they took one walk around the parking lot they came back with huge smiles and in the Buffett spirit. They saw all of the fun everyone was having and how creative everyone is with thier set ups.

I have been to 5 other concerts this summer so far and nothing will ever compare to the Buffet crowd. Everyone is great, laid back and shares everything. You instantly feel like you have become a part of a huge family. The food Sunset Chef was kickin out and the rum runners...oh the rum runners...were all excellent! Happy Independence Day weekend!

Here is the watermelon salad recipe that a few people have requested. I am also going to put up the sesame noodles, but I will put that straight over in the Recipe forum. If you can't find it let me know or maybe someone can link to if to it for me. Have a great weekend,

I am not always big into measuring, so with the watermelon salad I just kind of wing it.

Watermelon Salad
1 small seedless watermelon, cut into cubes. (the kind of watermelon that is not that much bigger than a canteloupe)
Crumbled Feta Cheese, up to 1 pound, (usually more like 1/2 pound) depending on how much you like it and how much watermelon you use.
Mint, finely chopped. I roll the leaves up and slice. Again- use to your taste and also availability. I have it growing like weeds, so I can use a lot.
Freshly cracked black pepper- more than you think you need You want to actually see the pepper flakes on the watermelon!
salt- large pinch
Optional: crushed red pepper flakes to make it spicier
Optional: drizzle with olive oil just before serving
Optional: garnish with some pretty mint sprigs on top

You could omit the mint and try basil, and I am going to use blueberries when I make it this weekend to make it look 'red white & blue'.

This would be party size. For more family size or a smaller batch, just use half the watermelon, and less feta. Don't buy the pre-crumbled feta- it is so easy to crumble right in your fingers and it is cheaper to buy whole.

The wife and I are just headed down for the pre-party, not the actual show. We are taking the Ac Express train ride down so we don't have to fight traffic. Nice and easy.

Is it too early to start planning next years party???
