War time music

Interesting article in the June 29, 2009 New Yorker about how our troops use music, mainly heavy metal, to prepare for battle and to deal with the pressures of war ("Over there: Blam": Talk of the Town section).

The article contains the following quote:

"A pair of Arkansas National Guardsmen, Pieslak writes, recorded an album in Iraq. One track, with apologies to Jimmy Buffett, was 'Mortaritaville': 'Wasted away again in Baghdad / One weekend a month, yeah, my ass / I'd like to kick my recruiter straight square in the teeth / But I know, 'It's my own damn fault.'"

I hope these guys come home safely. Remember our troops, and have a happy 4th.

Yup, I agree
Here's a link to it on Youtube; includes a slide show that doesn't quite match the lyrics but does show what the guys over there have to put up with.
