She's gonna try to be the martyr.
She will claim it's about all of us, who've vehemently opposed her, now just beating up on her... and her poor family.
Sorry, babe, but those populist, "us against them" themes are a little too tired for the rest of us in the Lower 48.
We aren't gonna get fooled again by the "aw, shucks" style that was the hallmark of another sham artist who left D.C. recently.
Please, go take of your family, raise those nice kids of yours to be good RESPONSIBLE young adults...
I'd respect Mrs. Palin a lot more if she would/could do that...
Yup...because that is, of course, a woman's job......stand behind her man and plant gardens at the White House....
Now you're gettin' with the program!

DON'T FORGET TO PUT
ME ON THAT LIST!!!
You certainly don't think I went around dancing the jig after Aunt Michael assumed room temperature, do you?
EDIT:
And I certainly hope you're not trying to "divide and conquer" because I know you know I was referring to the jerk-offs camped out at never never land and other places around the country where they're fighting each other to get the most camera time.
Now THOSE people are attention whores!
I was also referring to the news media shoving this crap down our throats.
It looks as if now they'll ALL be employed for a while.

Damn it! This p*** me off! Now it's going to be much harder to find video of her making an ass of herself and for and me to laugh at.
This woman is a train wreck waiting to happen, and an idiot.

Al Frankken is NOT a woman.

I just watched the press conference. Weird, to say the least.
She is toast. Even the conservative commentators are beside themselves. As one said, "Conservatives don't quit."
If she can't stand the heat in the kitchen of a mostly frozen state, what makes anyone think she could handle the pressure of a presidential bid?
Like one of the FOXNews people said, "There are a million pieces to this puzzle and we haven't seen 1/2 of them."
Will she sign up with FOX? Rush? Will she go on the speakers' circuit? Will she sign up for another book?
It's almost as if she said, "Take that, mainstream media. You won't have Sarah Palin to kick around anymore."

Garry. We might be surprised at how Al handles himself as a freshman senator. He played it really cool during the recount circus. Just a thought, but he might not be the clown you're expecting.

Only if she wants to make me happy.

That is exactly what I was thinking. What if, God forbid, they would have one last November? Would she have quit the VP office? She surely would have received more criticism in that office than as the Governor of Alaska.

..and neither is Fred "Gopher" Grandy

... where once playing an idiot clown on TV didn't stop your state of Iowa from electing him to Congress, repeatedly
.. so I wouldn't so quick to throw stones

1)I never voted for Freddie G.
For one thing, I wasn't living in Iowa at the time.
For another, he didn't represent the district in which I now live.
He was a decent represenative, but got a bit too big for his britches when he aspired to be the state's governor, ala Jim Ross Lightfoot.
2)You live in CALIFORNIA, and you're saying don't throw stones???
You're kidding, right?
You're politicians there are far better actors & actresses than former governor and president Ronaldus Magnimus ever could've been.
Give me F.G. any day over Bra Bra Boxer, Maxine (the welfare queen) Waters, Henry "Nostrilus Maximitus" Waxman, Loretta Sanchez (who won the Spanish vote as a person whose as Spainish as Sean Patrick O'Malley) and their ilk.
ME? Not throw stones?
No thanks! Give me a box of rocks and I'll educate the world.

ugh, I was really hoping her 15 minutes was over.
Yeah - she was and is WAY over her head. She is not a serious national candidate. She has no credibility as anything but a somewhat attractive woman. God help the GOP if she were to ever get the nomination

Perhaps she's stepping down because of personal comments attacking her and her family, similar to what I'm reading here.

Can't say I blame her, if that's the case.
People sure can be mean and ugly.
