People sure can be mean and ugly.

Unfortunately that is the political atmosphere we find ourselves. I don't like it, but nevertheless it is reality. Presidents, VPs, governors, etc. are subject to personal attacks, it is the name of the game. You can go all the way back to Washington. It is more prevalent today because 24/7 news sources have to have SOMETHING to talk about. If you want to run for public office you'd better get use to the heat.

I hope she gets the Republican nomination for the 2012 election. Perhaps Rush Limbaugh could be her VP running mate?
For the record, I don't think media types should make jokes about politicians' kids, especially the kind of humor that belongs in a standup comedy routine in an adult venue.

I'm not attacking her or her family. The fact is that she was not even remotely qualified to be Vice President - let alone President. If she looked like Sen. Barbara Mikulski - she would never have been nominated.
Say Good nite Mrs. Palin.

Don't forget the DEAD people and the illegal alieans also thought he was. Overwhelmingly.
As for that "Rocket Scientist," whether YOU thought those eight years were a failure or not, he at least had executive experience. Maybe if he were a community organizer.
And of the four people on the national ticket in 2008 (Obama, Biden, McCain, and Palin), guess which ONE of them was the most qualified over the other three NON executive-experienced stooges.

She is toast. Even the conservative commentators are beside themselves. As one said, "Conservatives don't quit."
If she can't stand the heat in the kitchen of a mostly frozen state, what makes anyone think she could handle the pressure of a presidential bid?
Like one of the FOXNews people said, "There are a million pieces to this puzzle and we haven't seen 1/2 of them."
Will she sign up with FOX? Rush? Will she go on the speakers' circuit? Will she sign up for another book?
It's almost as if she said, "Take that, mainstream media. You won't have Sarah Palin to kick around anymore."
I thought the press conference was pretty rambling, and somewhat incoherent, and I am convinced that there is a story that has not yet come out that led to today's decision. The press conference was called suddenly, on a day when news is traditionally buried for the holiday weekend. I think there's something else going on here-just don't know what yet.

Yes - I DO think those 8 years were a monumental failure. And don't you forget that were it not fot the voting inconsistencies in Florida - we would never had had the misfortune of 8 years of " the black sheep of the Bush family"

Yep - it was rigged right?

Just remember - without President W, you wouldn't have your Messiah right now.
I won't comment on politics anymore. And Gov. Palin is hot!

What I'm hearing from friends who have more access to information than most, there is something ... we'll just have to wait and see what comes out in the wash.
I really think the McCain people did her no favors by tapping her before she was ready to step into the spotlight. A Hail Mary pass that served no one. In my opinion.

Time to go home Mrs. Palin; Time to go home Mrs. Palin; Time to go home Mrs. Palin; Time to go home. Chasing illusions can get quite confusing - Hey Mrs. Palin - Time to go home.
