Dan LeFevour became the Mid-American Conference's all-time leader in passing yards in the win over Ball State. LeFevour now has 12,000 career yards. He broke Byron Leftwich's record of 11,903 career yards.
LeFevour also moved to third on the NCAA's career total offense list. He now has 14,861 career yards. He passed both Colt Brennan (Hawaii) and Ty Detmer (BYU) during Wednesday's game.
LeFevour is the first player in NCAA history to reach 11,000 career passing yards and 2,500 career rushing yards

Re: 2009 NCAA Football
You might want to have the team ease up a little bit....too big of a beatdown and you'll be facing Jim Harbaugh's Michigan team next year. I think it's in your best interest to keep the current coach there.Capt.Flock wrote:go bucks

Dang Georgia, now you're making me nervous about going up to Lexington next week. Is their football team better than their basketball team?

Ags won!
Now let's just hope they show up for Thursday night's game against Texas...
wouldn't it be great if we beat them and blew their chance at a national championship!

Re: 2009 NCAA Football
Well....Yes & No! I'm all for the Tea-Sippers gettin' beat by the Aggies year in & year out. But, if Tejas loses we'll have to put up with them damn SEC'ers squawking for a Florida/Bama rematch in the BCS title game. And I sure as hell don't wanna see that!txaggirl91 wrote:Ags won!

Now if you can guarantee that Bama or the Gators get shocked by their rivals this coming weekend to turn the BCS into a total Cluster.....then I'm all for it!

Re: 2009 NCAA Football
I'm all for the BCS turning into a cluster..... I can't guarantee it but it would be fun to watch!
But that would mean TCU would be ranked #1... I have issues with that. They have a pretty easy schedule... I can't believe they are ranked as high as they are.

I am happy we are on ESPN rather than ABC now... we wont have to deal with Brent Musburger
TELEVISION: ESPN HD (National)
Chris Fowler, play-by-play
Craig James, commentary
Jesse Palmer, commentary
Erin Andrews, sidelines
there are some funny postings on the aggie site about the mccoy/shipley relationship...

Re: 2009 NCAA Football
I was just telling my wife last week that Brent needs to hang it up. In last week's game he had a lot of missed calls, had complete/incomplete passes misidentified, etc. He should give the spotter in the booth a huge Christmas bonus, there were several pauses where somebody was giving him information so he could identify the players and explain what was going on.txaggirl91 wrote:I am happy we are on ESPN rather than ABC now... we wont have to deal with Brent Musburger
