For the "berry" flavored teas... Give Celestial Seasonings a try. They used have a "brand" out called "Iced Delight", with quite a few different flavors. Alas...I have not been able to find it in several years. You brewed it in your fridge. YOU DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT WITH HOT/boiling WATER!!!! TRUST ME! I tried it ONCE.
Recently, I saw another "brand" by Celestial Seasonings of a brew in the fridge type tea. There are assorted berry-lemon-type etc flavors. I have not tried yet. I am waiting to try it.
I can only hope it is as least as good as the previous brew in the fridge teas. I don't think you will regret trying the "new" CS refrigerator brew tea, that is if it is anywhere as good as the original Iced Delight.
I gave a guy that was working with (he was from the deep south) a try of the "Iced Delight" and told him only it was tea (not what kind) and he thought he had been poisoned at first. He was expecting the usual ice tea and was not prepared for the flavor it had. He got to like it though after he realized what it was.

My kids called overly sweet tea "ghetto tea" Where they got the name I'll never know, but it has stuck. Now the rare times we're together and I make tea for them that's what we call it. Personally, I brew my tea in a Mr Coffee iced tea machine and add Splenda. No lemon. To me lemon just doesn't taste good with Splenda. I do like lime though with it, but have to add extra Splenda.Moonie wrote:Brown Eyed Girl wrote:Funny, that's how I feel about sweet tea, period.![]()

goood Lord girl, I bet you don't admit that when you hit Atlanta.
I like tea, sweet, but I swear some restaurants here in the South are trying to poison you with sugar over-dose.
It's not tea, it's syrup.
On occasion I fix the tea urns for the teachers at school, they always complain there isn't enough sugar in it.
I'd say they like about full, 1 1/2 qts. sugar to just barely over a gallon and half of tea. And that's no kidding.

Instant tea has to remain on the market for some reason. It's not like its tough to brew a single cup or a large pot using a bag. So many companies have the cold-water brewing ones now too.
My preference is decaf Luzianne, brew a huge bottle, and for ice-tea....I don't sweeten it. Just not into sweet tea.
If it's hot tea, I need sweetener....I'm not sure I understand why I like one sweetened, the other not...but I'm ok with not understanding myself.

Tea is very refreshing until you put ANY type of sweetener in it. Ugh!
I hate it when I order an iced tea and get supprised by sweetener. Taco Bell has the worst tea ever. It tastes like cough medicine. And they don't warn you on the menu that it isn't just plain tea.
