Hello fellow BN'ers. I just booked 2 nights in Boston & I just wanted to see if anyone can recommend some off the beaten path places to eat, drink and visit. We're staying in downtown Boston, on Tremont Street, right by Beacon Hill. We're looking for places within walking distance. It's our first visit to the city so we're looking forward to it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

BTT..........I'm not real familiar w/Boston by street names........I just go in to where I've been told to go, when I have to and get out.
If you can.........head over to the North End. Great Italian food.

Seems to me someone else asked about Boston last year, maybe a search of BN will get you some answers.

I'll see what I can dig up for you, and hopefully some others will at least see this btt and get you what you need.
