Man...wish I'd known there'd be days like this, twentysome years ago when I got out of retail...

weeellllllllllll....I'm going down to Gulf Shores in about 10 days...wonder if it will still be open...been going down there for almost 20 years - always said if anyone ever offerec me a job, I wouldn't leave....

Hmmmm. PA or the Gulf Coast!! Like there is any doubt PA would be in my rear view mirror!! Seafood and the ocean who needs more motivation than that.

Well, I've got retail experience (7-plus years), but not in a managerial position.
And I prefer to observe the first rule of wing-walking:
Never let go of what you have until you've got a dambed good grip on something else.

The other thing is, I've got an 83-year old mother who's still living in her own house, and I'm pretty much her support system so she can keep doing so. There's already been enough discontent and friction since I moved out and into my own place eight months ago; if I were to pick up and head to the Gulf Coast I'd have to be looking over my shoulder for the hitman every waking minute.
