I think the last good work he did was in Fever Pitch
..and I say that mostly cuz I does really like me some Drewww Barrymore

That movie was the only thing I've ever liked him in. I've seen the TV show once.....yikes, that was bad. But it was only his first week, I know it took Conan awhile to find his stride too.

This is what I love about Tivo -have Jimmy Buffett as "key word" & if he is listed in a program it automatically Tivo's it -checked last night & sure enough it is on my to do list!!!!!!! That is how I was able to record his Miami concert on VH1 Classics a while back. Tivo -the best invention ever!!!!!

Yeah, I ended up with some surfing show because some couple meet him on an island and it was in the show's description. And I end up with lots on Warren Buffett as well since I just have Buffett as my keyword.

That is why I changed it to Jimmy Buffett -now no more Warren!! I get that same surfer show so I check my to do list once a week & delete it before it happens (I actually watched the first time -pretty lame show!)

I think that Fever Pitch is the only movie I have ever really seen him in. He did a couple of Cameos in "Band Of Brothers" and "Almost Famous", but that was about it.

Just finished the taping....Margaritaville with a tuba, interesting to say the least, I liked it. Well worth watching, for Shumpy's appearance alone. I will let him tell about it, very fun.

Good thing I was so stressed out after my grandkeets 16th and 14th combined birthday party tonight that I couldn't fall asleep at my usual post-news time. Finally got my blood pressure and pulse rate under control with rum and coco water...just in time for Bubba. I guess the party was worth it after all.

Nothing like 16 teenaged girls and their "non" boyfriends, 5 adolescent girls, and 6 assorted children under the age of 6, along with various other strange friends of my daughter and son-in-law, not to mention his steroid pumped brother and wife.

Okay, I need to go fix another drink. Asking for phin power now. hehehe
