Commercials on TV promoting JB tour
I don't recall ever seeing this before, but this AM in Chicago on one of the network stations, there was a commercial for the JB shows at Toyota Park. I've heard radio advertisements before but never on tv. Makes me wonder if tix sales are down or there's something else behind this expenditure.

Well the first thing that comes to mind is if you have a sellout there's no need to pay for more advertising.

Yep, there are still a ton of tickets left for both shows at Toyota Park. Just check TM or LN.

The last time I can remember hearing a commercial for a Jimmy Buffett show was for one of his shows at Great Woods back in the late 1980s (I think 1988 or 1989).
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

I also remember back in 2003, seeing commericals for "Meet Me In Margaritaville". It was on the ABC station here, it was like the old K-tel records commericals. When the songs played, the showed some concert highlights, then some old Jimmy footage sailing around in the boat and what not.
