What do you all think about the name Buffet Hotel?

When I first read it was going to be the title of the new Buffet(t) album for a second I didn't know...but, when I read the Rolling Stone piece I thought it was really clever and a good title.

What do you think about it? I admit the only album title of his I don't like is License to Chill.

I like how Jimmy has always had plays on words. Heck I always thought "Jimmy's Buffet" would be a funny title.
I'm glad he said the title on Fallon because I was pronouncing it like the "buffet" you eat.

Hey dude, both the Barefoot Man (in the Cayman Islands) and the band A1A have a song called Jimmy's Buffet.

We like the new album title. Can't wait to hear it.

I agree... Jimmy on Jimmy's show pronounced it "Boo-fay Hotel"

as opposed to the "bu-fay" that you'd eat at.

I kind of like the title. I'll be curious to see the cover of the album itself.

My darling, but clueless, brother-in-law once bought me a XXX bright orange t-shirt that he thought I would love--it said "Did Someone Say Buffet?"

For some reason when I heard this title, first thing I could think of was "Morrison Hotel"

Remember when he was doing his own songs over along with some covers and he was going to release Buffett Buffet but MCA beat him to the punch and what came out was Meet Me In Margaritaville? Seems he's been itchin' to use the 'Buffet' in an album title for a little while now.

I did not know that know about the Buffett Buffet. Good title....

I keep thinking "Hotel California" everytime I read this. I do not know why.

I also like the title. I'm looking forward to it as well.

i know its in part a play on his name but maybe if there is a song called "buffet hotel" i'll get it.i just think that a title for an album should match the genearl vibe of the album and i think jimmy has been very good at doing that in the past so i need to hear it first. fruitcakes was a great title and a great song and fits the album, much like A1A does. i like "buffett buffet" more but i guess it makes sense to have all original songs on an album with that name!
