I threw out the first pitch at the White Sox game!!!!

On Sat Aug 1st I, Yes me. Threw out the first game. As " Beer Vendor of the month" Miller Beer and the fans voted me as their favorite Beer Vendor. It still feels like I was dreaming. Over 38,000 fans some did cheer saw me throw one to the plate. I didn't bounce it. It was a little "inside". Mark Buehrle signed the ball for me. I felt like a kid. I am trying to show a picture. But, I'm old. Something about old dog and new tricks.

Congrats to you, moeron. It doesn't matter what you're doing, I know how nervous one can get when people are watching. Just getting it to the catcher without bouncing it is an achievement; getting it close to the plate is outstanding!

And as an aside: I have been accepted to join a chorus of men singing the National Anthem (in 4-part barbershop harmony) before the Twins-Cleveland game at the Metrodome on August 16th. Promises to be interesting, too.

First pitch is cool and all, but congrats on the beer vendor of the month too! You've got alotta people counting on you, and you're obviously good at it!

It all sounds super cool, and like a thrill of a lifetime. Standing on the field in front of a stadium full of fans gives goosebumps just typing it! And Buehrle signing the ball? Big cool! Way to go, Moe!!
