Lime ice cream with a tangy lime twist, fluffy meringue swirls & pie crust pieces. It's sublimely tangy & meringue-y! But remember, it's only available for a limited time,

I just ran up to the corner store and bought a pint.....
Now that I want to break the diet and try it I probably won't be able to find it. Never did find the Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road or whatever it was named.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

No I have to go to their scoop shop and just get a cup, if I buy a pint it's gone in 5 minutes and I'm sitting here hating myself!! they used to give the people in Waterbury a coupon for a sleeve (6 pints) of ice cream when you paid your property taxes in person. But once they sold to Lever Bros or whoever that was they stopped it. People were p*ssed. There was a sign on the Town Clerks door that said "There is no more free ice cream and no we don't know why"

The last time we did the factory tour (around 4 years ago when we hosted a foreign exchange student), at the end of the tour they give samples and ask if you have any questions. I spoke up and said "Yeah, Ben & Jerry lie." The tour guy's eyes got big, you could tell he was nervous and everyone in the tour group turned to look at me. I said " On the side of the pint it says there are 4 servings. I've never gotten more than 2" Everyone, including the tour guide started to laugh and the tour guide said if he saw Ben or Jerry, he'd pass on my complaint.

Oh that's excellent! Troublemaker!

Why did you have to post this? I usually walk right past Ben & Jerry's - so expensive and I eat ice cream like Cape Codders! BUt I may have to make an exception - that sound goood.

This might be great. I was at the Beverly Center tonight with a friend who bought a bunch of Godiva chocolate for his wife. So I got the free sample. It was chocolate something key lime pie. It was great!! Reminds me of when I was on Outward Bound in Florida.
I will try the B&J Key Lime, it will probably be really good stuff…

I know EXACTLY the chocolate truffles you are referring to Rich-I sent some of them to a phellow BN'er once!
And like everyone else in this thread, I too am now DYING for ice cream.
And I also have that line from the Kenny Chesney song stuck in my head about "Key Liiiime Pie"
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.

Yum.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
I've been eating it for a couple of weeks now. It's pretty good, though not great. It would be better if the crust was graham cracker instead of pastry. But the lime ice cream with lime swirls is totally delicious!
The Farewell Yellow Brickle Road is great too. But the Key Lime almost feels virtuous in comparison.
If you look on B&J's website, there are TONS of flavors that I never see locally. It's just not right! I love Cherry Garcia (the fro-yo), but my all time favorite of B&J's was Vermonty Python. . . it had chocolate cows!

That is just wrong. Gotta be a GC crust. We got a Blue Cow frozen yogurt place here. Its like a Fuddruckers for yogurt. They charge by the pound. I put graham crackers first as a crust then swirl in the cheesecake yogurt and top with fresh strawberries...oh my. Sorry, just ramblin'.
