We were headed into Atlanta yesterday afternoon to take the 'keets to see the Jonas Brothers (yes, I know)! My daughter was trying to get the venue pictured in her mind ... we'd ruled out the Fox, and she was meaning to ask if it was the indoor place where we'd been for High School Musical on Ice or the outdoor place we'd been to see Jimmy Buffett.
Well, the question came from the back of the mini-van, "Are we going to the same place we saw Jimmy Buffett on Ice?" I nearly drowned myself avoiding the diet coke spew on the windshield and my husband split a gut laughing.
Can you picture it though, Bubba on skates ... set changes with palm trees and the smoking volcano? Mr. Utley doing some type of spiral spin thingy with the plastic fanny becoming a blur???
Oh my goodness ... gave us a moment of levity before entering the arena of screamdom.

Considering some of the things that the Ice Capades and other shows have done, Jimmy Buffett and a tropical theme isn't that far of a stretch.
I've already got a name for the show/tour:
Wasting Away in Frozen Margaritaville !!!
In addition, it would give JB a whole new fanbase to tap...

The only ice I want with my Buffett concert is the stuff in my drink.. 
Although, Bubba on Ice is a rather entertaining idea. He could do it in our back yard in February. It would be fun!
