The scope of theft from so many should have never been forgiven.
He should have been shot by firing squad straight out of his trial...like they did to Cseaucescu (and wife) in Romania.
Tolerance for this kind of crime (including those at the corporate level) has led our economy down into the hole we're now mired, and extreme and brutal consequences would seem to be the only form of deterrent that might create impact.
