It's already illegal where I live.
Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
They call him the Twelve Volt Man

People that text while driving deserve Darwin to catch up to them. Unfortunately, too many times they hit others instead of trees.

It's a very scary thing to see people doing that....they are trying to make it illegal in the state of Illinois

I've seen it before, and once is enough.

Trouble is, like so many other things that are illegal/unsafe (drinking and driving; driving without seat belts; speeding, driving while tired, etc.) too many people always rationalize that 'I'm one of the safe ones', 'I know what I'm doing', 'Stuff like that always happens to some other doofus', or 'I did it before and nothing bad happened so nothing bad will happen this time either'. I'm afraid that the people it's intended to reach just won't get it.

Still, if it saves one life (especially someone like the little girl's parents — "Why won't Mommy and Daddy wake up?"), it will have been worth it.

I saw that the other night on tv and wow!
That doesn't make getting "special attention" while driving seem so bad

Texting while driving should result in an automatick license revocation.
I can't believe anyone would think it's okay or be foolish enough to try to do it.
