I am disappointed that you people aren't taking this seriously. As far as things happening this Thursday are concerned, this is at the top of my priority list, short of making it home alive.

(bump)
Have you ever been in danger of not making it home alive?
I did get into a bit of a verbal scuffle leaving Nissan one year. I don't remember what show it was. Some woman I didn't even know started some s*** with me for no reason and we were screaming at each other for quite a while because I wouldn't let it go. Fortunately, her big boyfriend/husband stayed out of it but I was afraid of what he was going to do. I called her every name I could think of and just as I ran out of verbal ammunition, I struck GOLD. I stopped and said something like "You know what, I'm sorry. Not to you though. I'm sorry to him because he has to deal with you every night. I really feel bad for him. I'm lucky because I'll forget you as soon as I leave. He's got to put up with you for God only knows how long... although he shouldn't." He should have whooped my ass. Instead, I could see him fighting back laughter. I swear I thought he was going to high-five me after saying that.
That's funny. I usually think of that stuff 2 days later. Classic.

So seriously, is the first wish Nauticals Wheelers or one of the other things. 8)
Well, my first wish is Nautical Wheelers only if I have to be realistic about the items on the list. Reality's a drag!

Just for clarification Jimmy.... You should play NAUTICAL WHEELERS at NISSAN PAVILION on THURSDAY (tomorrow).

The people going on SATURDAY say that they REALLY want to hear Tripping Billies.

So, I check my ticket stubs and the JB song database. He played Nautical Wheelers in 92 at Merriweather and 97 at Nissan. Unfortunately, I was there on the other day that he played those venues so I did not get to hear it.

So, I'm with you. Let's hear some Nautical Wheelers!

I'm sorry, there will be no confrontations in this thread. MODERATORS!!!!! Banish this man! Just for that, now he's not only going to play Tripping Billies, but he's going to play Glory Days twice (with a reprise at the end).

This thread sure is rather BUMPy. :D

Don't worry, after tomorrow evening, you'll never have to hear me beg for Nautical Wheelers again, because I'll have heard him PLAY NAUTICAL WHEELERS live.... TOMORROW NIGHT..... AT NISSAN PAVILION........

Although, now that I think about it, I'm bringing my daughter for her first show and I sing Little Miss Magic to her almost every night, so he could play that too! Either way, I'll be happy.

I just realized that every live version I have of Nautical Wheelers begins with someone yelling "Nautical Wheelers" from the crowd down in front. Then Jimmy makes a comment saying something "you don't look like the squaredancing type." Well, I won't be down front. In fact, I'll give ya pretty good odds that my wife, daughter and I will be sitting in folding chairs in the family section of the lawn which is about as far from the stage as you can get. So... if anyone is going to be within yelling range, don't be afraid to scream it out for me. Or... if anyone happens to be bringing a megaphone along with them, that would be superb too. Even better yet... if someone happens to know the frequency of the wireless transmitters the band will be using and can get me a microphone on that frequency, I'll tell him my request directly over the PA. I'll even settle for someone hanging a gigantic banner from the rafters above the back of the pavilion where I can pull a rope as he comes out for his encore and as the giant banner unrolls down toward the crowd, blocking the view of the people behind it on the lawn, to reveal my humble (and subtle) request. I'm sure all those who will no longer be able to see will take comfort in knowing that their sacrifice, and the sacrifice of those around them, will be worthwhile because the guy in the worst seats possible got to hear the song he wants.
