Yes, welcome to BN. I don't think you will find anyone here that thinks Jimmy has a 2-5 song repertoire.

Excuse me, but this thread is NOT about all of the other great songs Jimmy has and doesn't play in concert. It's about how he NEEDS TO PLAY NAUTICAL WHEELERS FOR ME! We can certainly discuss the merits of his other works in another thread, but I would hate for him to stumble upon this discussion and think he has options for what he's going to close with next year at Nissan Pavilion. He has no options. HE WILL PLAY NAUTICAL WHEELERS GOSH DARNIT!!!!

OK you want a suggestion? We got to meet Ilo that is singing with Jimmy this year. At the Detroit concert..(he was warming up by the Margartiaville bus....) he sang one of his songs.. We actually could talk to him...HE WILL BE TALKING TO JIMMY JUST BEFORE THE SHOW. HAVE A NOTE AND GIVE TO ILOTO GIVE JIMMY.....YOU JUST NEVER KNOW. MAYBE HE WILL READ YOUR NOTE AND SING YOUR SONG! Good luck and I will be praying that you get your wish....

I am reviving this thread to consolidate my long standing campaign to get Nautical Wheelers played at Niss... er.... Jiffy Lube Live this year. Please disregard what you may think of me as a person and show your support for the song. It deserves to be played. Show some love people!

kate2559 had a good idea in the previous post. If anybody is going to see Mac on 9/3 and is lucky enough to meet him at the show, perhaps somebody could plant that seed for me. Unfortunately I won't be able to make that show.

If you're going to use that rationale, you should campaign to have Jimmy NOT play it in the same way Ice-T threw his support behind John McCain because he thought openly supporting Obama would hurt more than help.

I feel your pain, FunkHouse! Track down the bus the day of the show, with any luck there will be a meet and greet with some of the band. Make your plea there. I agree, Nautical Wheelers is an excellent song and is certainly in my top 5.
