Anyone interested in going to St Barths in Nov?
We have chartered a boat, 4 double cabin, 2 single cabin catamaran, from St Martin. We have 1 double cabin available, maybe 2. Looking for someone interested in taking a cabin (2 people).
The dates are Nov 4th thru Nov 9th. We will leave St Martin for St Barths on the evening of Nov 4th or morning of Nov 5th. Back in St Martin the morning of Nov 9th. Jimmy is playing at the docks of Gustavia on Saturday Nov 7th. This give us plenty of time to get there and tour around after the show. Thinking of sailing to St Kitts or Nevis or Anguilla post concert.
Price per person is approximately $700 for the 5 nights including a skipper, hull insurance and gas. Provisions etc are extra.
The catamaran was booked through Charter World.
Please let me know if you are interested. Send me a message on this board or respond to this post and I can contact you offline.
FINS UP!!!

Well..I'd be all over this but...
I'm single (unless Janice wants to go)
I can't get away from work that time of year
I'll probably head back to the Bahamas late spring for a few weeks and be able to that for FREE (minus airfare and food)
But it doesn't sound like a remarkable opportunity for someone wanting to get a different type of "cruising" experiencing...

Re: Anyone interested in going to St Barths in Nov?
We are interested but have a number of problems to solve.
1 am mean, we stay at cheap hotels and bars (we stay at Hooters in Vegas)
2 I need to get my leave (vacation time) moved have 2 weeks booked in October that are now are wasted due to cancelled dates.
3 How do I get from England to St Martin.
4 We have never sailed before.
We are going to Paris and I really begrudge paying so much money for so little and I suspect St Barts will be the same.
will work on it over the next couple of days, I hope we can get there.

This sounds awesome. I hope someone form BN can join you. If it weren't for our 3 kid's crazy schedules, I'd jump at this offer. We were in St. Martin this spring, second visit off a cruise ship. While I was there I was thinking about how great it would be to do some island hopping/sailing from there.
I've never flown there, but it must be a great approach. Here is a shot of a plane approaching taken from the Sunset Beach Bar.

Re: Anyone interested in going to St Barths in Nov?
Lemme check my lottery numbers.
"And the winning numbers are...7, 6, 5, 3, 7, 9."
Uh, close — so close!
Seriously, I'd love to do it, but
• I'd have to win a lottery to afford it.
• I don't think I could get a passport in time.
• I'd need to find someone to share the cabin with me (although this is probably the easiest one to solve)
