No, I'm not rehashing my Buffett ticket buying experience. This is serious!

Redskins sold tickets to brokers -- not fans
So what did the team do after the audit turned up the sales to brokers?
Redskins General Counsel David Donovan says employees involved in the sales were disciplined*.
Word of the sales to brokers apparently made owner Dan Snyder "livid," Donovan said.

Ticketmaster and Van Halen are being accused of the same type of thing: cutting deals with scalpers in an attempt to get a cut of the secondary market.

The Cubs have been doing it for years. Set up their own ticket broker.

The Red Sox do it as well. They have the ticket broker (Ace Tickets) based right next to Fenway Park!! Can't get tickets to the game...go right next door to the broker.

Money Talks Bull$%#! walks. Most of us Phans have been walking.

Thats why I will never buy from "Wrigley Field tickets" They are a scalping company set up by the Cubs.

I guess they just are not making enough $$$ alone from ticket sales.
