Jimmy lends his boat to Wounded Warriors
Thought this was interesting especially in light of 9/11 tomorrow.
One of the many charities that Jimmy Buffett quietly supports is the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that seeks to improve the lives of soldiers that have been wounded in service to America.
In July, Buffett made a surprise appearance at a WWP benefit on Long Island. And recently he lent his boat and captain for three wounded soldiers to go on a fishing excursion:

Re: Jimmy lends his boat to Wounded Warriors
If you read APLA50, Jimmy had firsthand experience knowing Vietnam vets, and you could surmise he was probably against that war.
Don't know what his stance is on Iraq/Afghanistan/whatever, but...
even if he does/doesn't agree with the mission, he truly supports our men and women in uniform.
For that, he has my utmost respect.

A very nice thing to do.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
