I was so looking forward to this show, especially since I passed out in the lot in Tampa and missed the show.
Now it looks like I'll be posting on BN on November 14 in my boxers while downing Natty Light and eating cheeto crumbs out of my belly button..........just like right now

I'll be posting on BN on November 14 recapping the Bruce Springsteen & The E Street show that I attended the night before......most likely suffering from drinking TOO MANY Natty Lights but I can guarantee I won't be chowing on cheeto's! Okay, I'll fess up...beer scale prolly bottoms out at 16 oz. Busch Light for me!

I wonder if this has happened in the past - a show planned and then canceled - but we didn't see it because the show was never announced. This year we got what we screamed for - a full schedule announced all at once - only to see shows canceled. I still think once a show is scheduled and announced on M'Ville there should be some explanation (even if vague) if it gets canceled, but I also hope we go back to shows not being announced until the plans are in stone.

AND, upsetting as it is that we see the shows listed and then canceled, at least he hasn't have to do what Aerosmith has had to do recently with the injury of Steven Tyler. Aerosmith has had to refund all tickets for shows that have been canceled.

a) odd, this is what folks on the west coast were saying when that leg went away, and they got jumped on for it
b) short of a death in the immediate "family" or personal illness/injury, how hard is it to plan something like "on these days, home/available. on theeeese.. on the road/busy"; busy already? can't do that" it isn't rocket science. People with less "technical support staff" available than Jimmy has can do it easily enough.
c) Aerosmith example.. see b)

You're not going to get an argument from me. I thought it went way out of hand with the name calling (and tried to stay out of it as much as possible).

As for the other two points, I think you and I are in agreement more than you realize.

Although I have absolutely no inside knowledge, I strongly suspect this kind of back and forth, on-again, off-again conversations went on between JB and management but we never saw it before because there was no announcement until it was *on*. I suspect JB or his management were trying to appease us in giving us a full schedule but one that wasn't set in stone. Nothing but pure speculation, but it kinda makes sense. I hate it for anyone to lose a show they were planning on.

Live and learn. Had friends coming down to go to this show. No plans were to be made until they went on sale though!

I left about a year ago. Got a job in Central Florida in a job that I love and the money was better (not hard to beat the money people pay in Panama City). I still own a house in PC that I rent out, so I am in town from time to time.
