Now it looks like I'll be posting on BN on November 14 in my boxers while downing Natty Light and eating cheeto crumbs out of my belly button..........just like right now
I'll be posting on BN on November 14 recapping the Bruce Springsteen & The E Street show that I attended the night before......most likely suffering from drinking TOO MANY Natty Lights but I can guarantee I won't be chowing on cheeto's! Okay, I'll fess up...beer scale prolly bottoms out at 16 oz. Busch Light for me!

AND, upsetting as it is that we see the shows listed and then canceled, at least he hasn't have to do what Aerosmith has had to do recently with the injury of Steven Tyler. Aerosmith has had to refund all tickets for shows that have been canceled.

a) odd, this is what folks on the west coast were saying when that leg went away, and they got jumped on for it
b) short of a death in the immediate "family" or personal illness/injury, how hard is it to plan something like "on these days, home/available. on theeeese.. on the road/busy"; busy already? can't do that" it isn't rocket science. People with less "technical support staff" available than Jimmy has can do it easily enough.

:o Is that your appetizer, or dinner, Michael??
It's part of my Weight Watchers dinner. 2 points for the beer
and I'm guessing 1 for the cheeto crumbs mixed with belly button lint
half. you get negative value for the added fiber from the lint.

You're not going to get an argument from me. I thought it went way out of hand with the name calling (and tried to stay out of it as much as possible).

As for the other two points, I think you and I are in agreement more than you realize.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Although I have absolutely no inside knowledge, I strongly suspect this kind of back and forth, on-again, off-again conversations went on between JB and management but we never saw it before because there was no announcement until it was *on*. I suspect JB or his management were trying to appease us in giving us a full schedule but one that wasn't set in stone. Nothing but pure speculation, but it kinda makes sense. I hate it for anyone to lose a show they were planning on. :(

Well, I live in Panama City Beach....and don't want to leave [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif] I don't have to fight Atlanta traffic any more.

Live and learn. Had friends coming down to go to this show. No plans were to be made until they went on sale though!

I left about a year ago. Got a job in Central Florida in a job that I love and the money was better (not hard to beat the money people pay in Panama City). I still own a house in PC that I rent out, so I am in town from time to time.

1) I have yet to see any announcement of a boycott of jimmy because he canceled this date.
2) I have yet to see threads upon threads of negativity and whining about lost money.
3) Orlando people are not complaining becuase we got a tampa show and did have an oppertunity to see him in the central florida area
4) I think the overall tone has been different

1) I am waiting for this boycott announcement too. You know that it won't come from me.
2) Well, all the negativity threads for Orlando or anywhere else have already been locked or deleted. Keep in mind that this thread is the "Orlando 11/14 Concert cancelled" #2.
3) I am not complaining and I am not from Orlando. I did go to Tampa this year, and had intended to go to Orlando, but I am still not complaining. Nor am I asking for any explanations for any "cancellations".
4) I agree that the overall tone is different, and I can't quite place my finger on it.

I don't think that it was the people on the East Coast that were causing the problem....

Just wondering if the western mods would even consider that as a personal attack???
