Just wondering if the western mods would even consider that as a personal attack???

For the life of me, I'll never understand what Penny especially, or the other mods, could have possibly done to garner random pot shots from you.

A lot of my group of friends were bickering and gossiping over one of our owns recent divorces...and Rosita looked at me and said:

I wonder if this has happened in the past - a show planned and then canceled - but we didn't see it because the show was never announced. This year we got what we screamed for - a full schedule announced all at once - only to see shows canceled. I still think once a show is scheduled and announced on M'Ville there should be some explanation (even if vague) if it gets canceled, but I also hope we go back to shows not being announced until the plans are in stone.

AND, upsetting as it is that we see the shows listed and then canceled, at least he hasn't have to do what Aerosmith has had to do recently with the injury of Steven Tyler. Aerosmith has had to refund all tickets for shows that have been canceled.

a) odd, this is what folks on the west coast were saying when that leg went away, and they got jumped on for it
b) short of a death in the immediate "family" or personal illness/injury, how hard is it to plan something like "on these days, home/available. on theeeese.. on the road/busy"; busy already? can't do that" it isn't rocket science. People with less "technical support staff" available than Jimmy has can do it easily enough.
c) Aerosmith example.. see b)

1) I have yet to see any announcement of a boycott of jimmy because he canceled this date.
2) I have yet to see threads upon threads of negativity and whining about lost money.
3) Orlando people are not complaining becuase we got a tampa show and did have an oppertunity to see him in the central florida area
4) I think the overall tone has been different

Actually, it was a personal attack...a pretty mean one at that. These types of insults should not be allowed on these boards.
They are hurtful and unnecessary.

How do you all know what the mods HAVE AND HAVE NOT done?? Most of the time we PM people to send them warnings if we feel they are out of line.

Having met most of you involved in this bickering I can honestly say that I cannot believe how ANY of your are acting...over what? A cancelled concert. Yes folks have the right to be disappointed. It is disappointing when you don't get to do something you have looked forward. I'm sorry...I have more important things in life to worry over....not over a concert being cancelled and definitely not over whether or not someone else is upset about it.

Lastly I'm sick of the finger pointing toward the mods. We do our best to be fair and impartial. we try to keep the board friendly and open to new people. IF you have problems with how we handle things then go post somewhere else. We used to have a friendly board....so many of you have pointed fingers at each other but you need to take a look at yourselves....for the first time in six years, I can say that I am ashamed of being a member here.....
